Progress stays in your browser
Quest checklists and the resulting XP and rank progress are stored in your browser’s local storage on this device. Music volume, guided-story choices, and story die results are also saved locally. There are no user accounts, cloud saves, or automatic progress syncing. Clearing site storage or using another browser can remove or separate your progress. You can reset individual quests using their Reset Progress buttons.
Guided quest conversations
The Lantern Keeper currently uses authored scenes and prepared answers inside your browser. Questions are kept only in the open page’s session, are not saved in the quest journal, and are not sent to an AI provider. There is no live AI model connected in this version. We will explain any provider and data handling before introducing live AI conversation.
Forms and email
This version does not collect newsletter subscriptions or submit contact forms. If a public email link is available, it opens your own email application. Sending a message shares the information you choose to include with the recipient and your email service.
Hosting and measurement
The website is hosted on Vercel. Hosting and network providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the site. The current application does not add advertising pixels, behavioral analytics, or a live email marketing service. We will update this page before introducing those services.
Merchants and other websites
Shopping, book, and training links may take you to another website. That website handles its own cookies, accounts, payments, and privacy choices under its own policies. Affiliate links, when activated and identified, may use the merchant or network’s referral tracking. See our affiliate disclosure.
